High-Throughput Assays

Choosing the right high-throughput assays is often critical to the success of a synthetic biology project. Testing of genetic constructs needs to be fast and inexpensive in order to collect informative datasets. Statistical power lies in numbers.

Most projects require the development of assays capable of rapidly generating data predictive of the constructs performance in a production environment.

Depending on the circumstances, standard assays based on flow cytometry or microtiter plate readers can be complemented with data coming from new platforms such colony size assays, microbioreactors, or  high-content screening.

GenoFAB does not perform high-throughput assays. It helps clients determines what high-throughput assays may best meet the client’s project objectives.
