Plasmid Synthesis
Plasmid Construction Services
Streamline your workflows by outsourcing plasmid construction to GenoFAB. Simply upload the sequences of the plasmids you need, and we’ll handle the rest. Our comprehensive service eliminates the need for cloning, primer design, or ordering synthetic DNA fragments.
What We Offer:
- Effortless Plasmid Construction: Upload your sequences, and we’ll build the plasmids to your exact specifications.
- Miniprep-Scale Preparation: Each plasmid construction includes a preparation of 20 µg for high-copy plasmids. For larger quantities, utilize our plasmid purification service.
- Gold-Standard Verification: All plasmids are verified by whole-plasmid sequencing using both short- and long-read technologies. Our proprietary bioinformatics algorithms ensure the highest accuracy.
Volume Discounts:
- 10% discount for orders of 24 plasmids.
- 20% discount for orders of 96 plasmids.
Simplify your plasmid construction with GenoFAB and focus on advancing your research.

Plasmid synthesis process
Step 1: Design your plasmids
Design your complete plasmid using SnapGene or any other other plasmid editor.
When designing your plasmid, focus on its function rather than cloning. You don't need to worry about cloning sites, primers, or anything related to making the plasmid. Include the plasmid backbone of your choice in your design.
If you need help designing your plasmids, check out the design services.
Step 2: Place your order
Upload your complete plasmid sequence, preferably as a SnapGene or GenBank file. We can also accept FASTA or text files.
If you want to include multiple plasmids in your order, you can put all the plasmid sequences into a single zip archive.
Select the size of your plasmids and the quantity of plasmid solution you need.
Indicate the number of plasmid sequences in the file you uploaded with your order.
Step 3: Order review
Your order will be reviewed by your account manager. They will check the size and number of plasmids in your order. They will also look for sequences that may be difficult to assemble. Finally, they will perform a biosecurity screen.
Upon completion of the review, they will communicate the production timeline.
Step 4: Production and delivery
Your account manager will keep you updated on the progress of the plasmid production.
Upon completion, all your project data, along with shipping information, will be uploaded to the GenoFAB LIMS.
